This year, City Wide Produce proudly participated in the 99th Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention & Trade Show held at the Vancouver Convention Center in Vancouver, BC. Spanning 63,800 square feet of booth space, the event attracted over 300 companies and welcomed more than 4000 attendees over two days.
For City Wide Produce, this marked our second appearance at the convention. Our dedicated team, Gopal, Fazleen, Mona, Kirk, and Raman, seized the opportunity to establish new connections and nurture partnerships within the industry. The main attraction of our booth was our eye-catching Produce Floral Wall, where we creatively incorporated our fresh produce to showcase our company logo. The Produce Wall attracted a lot of attention and was the entry point for our Nintendo Switch giveaway along with planting a business card or scanning their CPMA badge at our booth. With over 200 entries, our winner is Shawn Shen of Young Wave PPE – Congratulations to Shawn! And looking forward to connecting with those we met at the our booth!
Throughout the trade show, City Wide Produce engaged in various initiatives to support the event. We contributed to the Healthy Break Area by providing fresh oranges for attendees to enjoy and promote healthy snacking!
We were also thrilled to receive the Fresh Health Award, an esteemed award recognizing CPMA members who actively promote increased produce consumption through initiatives like the Half Your Plate Program. Gopal represented City Wide Produce at the awards ceremony, graciously accepting the honour on behalf of our team.

Our Big Bossel Sprout, Gopal was recommended from a member of CPMA to participate as a panelist at the Half Your Plate Health Symposium, sharing insights alongside Brian Faulkner of BC Fresh and Jeff Madu of Windset Farms. The Health Symposium was moderated by Kristin Brown RD of Save-On- Foods.  The Symposium gathered dieticians and health professionals to glean insights from top nutrition experts about fruits and vegetables in the industry. This pivotal learning event not only provided networking opportunities but also aimed to enhance Canadians’ fruit and vegetable consumption for improved health.
