Each year the BC Chefs Association will award Scholarships to culinary students who will be our future Chefs. To achieve this goal, we have auctioned 3 catered dinners at the President’s Ball in March of this year. The first recipients of these dinners were Gopal & Fazleen of City Wide Produce, and was hosted at their home with 10 of their closest friends!

The Dinner menu included:

APPETIZER
Chicken tartlet with cranberry relish
Tofu tartlet with cranberry relish
SALAD
Shaved beet and carrot with citrus scallion vinaigrette
SOUP
Thai butternut ginger and coconut soup
MAIN
Braised short rib creamy polenta, grilled mushrooms and charred broccolini with oil and garlic
Tofu modified polenta
DESSERT
Coconut & vanilla sorbet with vegan cookies
